Therapist
I am a highly experienced psychotherapist who is committed to providing a safe and supportive space for my clients to work towards healing and understanding. I have worked across private, charitable, educational, and voluntary sectors with families, couples, adults and teenagers. I have supported NHS employees, whilst also working for charities including a hospice, domestic abuse support, suicide bereavement and incurable illness support.
I am passionate about helping my clients on their healing journey and bring warmth, calmness and compassion, I listen with empathy and sensitivity without judgement. I work integratively with whatever my clients bring to our sessions. Together we work collaboratively to explore difficult feelings and emotions to help you gain insight into the difficulties you are facing. Specialisms are bereavement and loss working with families, adults and teenagers, particularly supporting families adjusting to incurable or life-changing illnesses.
I have also assisted my clients with a wide range of other issues such as anxiety, trauma, domestic abuse, identity, childhood trauma, stress, bullying, depression, family dynamics, major life transitions (retirement, redundancy, menopause), self-esteem and work/life balance.
