FAQs

At Tranquility Tribe, we believe that true wellbeing comes from nurturing the whole person, mind, body, emotions, and spirit. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we take a holistic and compassionate approach that recognises your unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. Our services combine evidence-based therapeutic approaches with holistic wellbeing practices, creating a supportive environment where healing, growth, and self-discovery can take place. We understand that no two people are the same, which is why we tailor our support to meet your individual needs. Above all, we strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, valued, and supported on your journey.

Many people come to us unsure of exactly what they need, and that’s completely normal. Whether you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, emotional difficulties, life transitions, trauma, low confidence, burnout, or simply seeking personal growth, we can help guide you towards the most appropriate service. We encourage you to get in touch for an initial conversation where we can explore your needs, goals, and preferences together. From there, we can recommend the therapies, wellbeing services, or combination of approaches that may best support you.

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We’ll explore what has brought you to Tranquility Tribe, discuss any challenges you’re experiencing, and talk about what you hope to gain from our work together. You are welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable. There is no pressure to tell your entire story in one session. We understand that opening up can take time, and we will move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. The first session also provides an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether the service feels like the right fit for your needs.

Absolutely. Many people find that combining talking therapies with holistic approaches can provide a deeper and more integrated path to wellbeing. For example, psychotherapy may help you understand and process emotional experiences, while practices such as EFT, mindfulness and breathwork, may support relaxation, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing. Together, these approaches can complement one another and support healing on multiple levels. We can work with you to develop a personalised wellbeing plan that reflects your goals and preferences.

Not at all. Many people seek support before reaching crisis point, and we actively encourage this. Therapy and wellbeing services can help with personal growth, self-awareness, improving relationships, managing stress, building resilience, increasing confidence, and creating greater balance in life. You do not need to wait until things feel overwhelming. Seeking support early can often help prevent difficulties from becoming more entrenched and can promote long-term wellbeing.

The number of sessions varies from person to person and depends on your individual circumstances, goals, and the nature of the issues you wish to explore. Some people benefit from short-term focused support, while others find longer-term therapy helpful for deeper exploration and lasting change. We regularly review progress together and will work collaboratively to ensure the support remains aligned with your needs. There is no expectation or obligation to continue beyond what feels beneficial and appropriate for you.

Feeling nervous about reaching out for support is incredibly common. Many people worry about what to say, whether their difficulties are “serious enough,” or how they will feel talking to someone new. Please know that there is no expectation for you to have everything figured out before contacting us. Our role is to meet you where you are, with compassion, understanding, and without judgement. You are welcome to take things at your own pace, and we will support you in feeling as comfortable as possible throughout the process. Taking the first step can often be the hardest part, and we are here to walk alongside you when you’re ready.

We are committed to providing an inclusive, affirming, and accessible environment for neurodivergent individuals, including autistic people, those with ADHD, and individuals with other forms of neurodiversity. We recognise that everyone experiences and processes the world differently. We adapt our approach to suit individual communication styles, sensory needs, processing preferences, and ways of engaging.

Our aim is not to “fix” neurodivergence but to support individuals in understanding themselves, building confidence, navigating challenges, and celebrating their unique strengths. We are dedicated to creating a space where you can feel accepted, respected, and understood exactly as you are.

A holistic approach recognises that mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual wellbeing are deeply interconnected. When one area of life is struggling, it can impact many others. Equally, positive changes in one area can create meaningful improvements throughout your overall wellbeing. At Tranquility Tribe, we consider the whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms or problems. We explore what may be contributing to your current experiences while also identifying your strengths, resources, and opportunities for growth. Our goal is to support you in creating greater balance, resilience, self-awareness, and wellbeing in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable for your life.

Absolutely not. At Tranquility Tribe, we understand that life can be complicated, challenging, and sometimes overwhelming. Whatever experiences, thoughts, feelings, or circumstances have brought you here, you will be met with compassion, respect, and understanding. Our role is not to judge, criticise, or tell you how you should feel. Instead, we provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences openly and honestly, knowing that you will be accepted exactly as you are. Many people carry worries about being misunderstood or judged for their struggles. We believe that healing begins when people feel truly seen, heard, and valued without fear of criticism.

If something is affecting your wellbeing, then it matters. You do not need to be in crisis, at breaking point, or experiencing severe difficulties to benefit from support. Many people seek help because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, uncertain, or simply because they want to understand themselves more deeply. Seeking support is not a sign that things have become unbearable; it is often a sign of self-awareness, courage, and a commitment to your own wellbeing. You deserve support whether your challenges feel big or small. If it matters to you, it matters to us.

That’s perfectly okay. Many people arrive at their first session unsure of where to begin. Some know exactly what they want to talk about, while others simply know that something doesn’t feel quite right. There is no expectation for you to have the right words, a clear plan, or all the answers. We can gently explore things together, at your pace. Sometimes healing begins with a simple conversation. Sometimes it begins with silence, reflection, or uncertainty. Wherever you are in your journey, we will meet you there.

We know how important it is to feel understood. While no one can fully walk in another person’s shoes, we are committed to listening deeply, with curiosity, empathy, and respect for your unique experiences. Your story, background, identity, beliefs, and life experiences matter. We take the time to understand the person behind the problem, recognising that every individual’s journey is different. Our aim is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself, without having to explain or justify who you are.

Choosing support can feel like a big decision, and it’s natural to wonder whether you’ve found the right fit. At Tranquility Tribe, we welcome people from all walks of life who are seeking greater wellbeing, healing, self-understanding, balance, or personal growth. Whether you’re facing specific challenges, navigating life changes, managing stress, exploring your emotional wellbeing, or simply feeling called to reconnect with yourself, we are here to support you. If you’re unsure, we encourage you to reach out for an initial conversation. Together, we can explore your needs and help you decide whether our services feel right for you. Sometimes the first step isn’t knowing exactly where you’re going, it’s simply allowing yourself the opportunity to begin.

Many of us become so focused on caring for others that our own needs gradually move to the bottom of the list. Over time, this can leave us feeling exhausted, disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure of who we are beyond our responsibilities. At Tranquility Tribe, we believe that caring for yourself is not selfish it is essential. Taking time to nurture your own wellbeing allows you to reconnect with your needs, restore balance, and create space for healing and growth. You deserve the same kindness, compassion, and care that you so freely offer to others. Given your work with parents, carers, helping professionals, and people who are often supporting everyone around them, I think that question would resonate deeply with many visitors to the website.

“A place where people feel held, heard, and empowered to heal.”
