What it is:

A space where you will be able to engage with others in a similar position – you are not alone! This is the group I looked for when we were going through the crisis years – a safe, non-judgmental place for support and encouragement. It’s focused on your journey through this, not theirs. The conversations will focus on the needs of those who are participating though will have a theme each week.

To start things, we will be looking at:

  • Managing stress and trauma
  • Co-dependency
  • Re-learning relationships
  • Anxiety
  • Re-framing guilt and shame
  • Boundaries

What it isn’t:

It isn’t personal counselling, although you might also find that helpful and complements being part of the group. It isn’t judgmental, it is not designed to increase any feelings of guilt or shame that you may feel. It isn’t designed to give you all the answers or fix everything that you are finding difficult, but it may give you some fresh helpful insights.

How will it work:

Hour-long online video calls each week – we know how precious time is when you are juggling so much.

Group expectations will be agreed, published and regularly reviewed and updated.

An open-ended group.

Although people may join at any point, this group will be full and closed to new members once there are 12 people in it; spaces will become available as people leave so just let Jan know if you want to be added to the waiting list
